They also write and perform solo as Clerestory.

As a teacher, Emma calls upon experience gained through a degree in Jazz Voice Performance (Capilano 2014) and their continued study of vocal techniques and Estill and Fitzmaurice methodologies.  Emma brings embodiment, self-awareness, and movement into vocal exploration and aims to support students in building a unique relationship with their voices. Emma began teaching vocal embodiment workshops in 2016, and continues to further develop and expand the workshop material in tandem with their own vocal discoveries and growth.

Emma has always been drawn to the plants around them but started paying closer attention in 2015 when they began to support their body with herbal medicines to help with ongoing chronic infections.  They spent time learning from books, blogs, and the plants themselves before taking a workshop from the Wild Seed School on Saltspring Island in 2016.  This started them on a more serious herbal path and they began the Fireweed School herbal apprenticeship program in 2018 and then continued working with Jessy Delleman at Ravensong Seeds & Herbals from 2019-2021 as an intern and employee.  They love paying attention to the seasonal shifts the plants show us and have been making small batches of potent medicine from ethically wildcrafted and farm-grown medicinal plants as Moondseed Herbals since 2019.  Emma loves sharing their knowledge of plants and their medicine with others and has experience teaching workshops on plant ID, oil and salve making, elderberry medicine, fire cider, and tincture making.
